About Moyale Constituency NG-CDF

Hon. Guyo Jaldesa (UPIA) serves as the Member of Parliament representing Moyale Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya. Moyale Constituency is located in the extreme part of northern Kenya. The Constituency has a population of 53,479 and an area of 9,390 km² Moyale constituency constitutes an extensive plain lying between 300m and 900m above sea level, sloping gently towards the south east. The plain is bordered to the west and north by hills and mountain ranges and is broken by volcanic cones and calderas The sub county receives low bimodal and erratic conventional rainfall ranging from 300mm and 900mm. long rains occur between April and May while short rains occur in October and November. The hinterland parts experience dry conditions which support wildlife and nomadic life style. VISION: To be a model constituency in Kenya delivering equitable socio-economic transformation, modern education infrastructure, and empowered communities. MISSION: To efficiently mobilize and utilize NG-CDF public resources through transparent, accountable, and participatory governance for sustainable grassroots development in Moyale Constituency.

Appointed pursuant to Section 25 of the NG-CDF Act, 2015 to oversee prudent public financial management, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance for development projects in Moyale Constituency.
